The Meridian Society empowers women in philanthropic and leadership endeavors. Each spring the Meridian Society provides financial awards to fund outstanding community outreach programs and projects which are supported through SIUE departments and services. Since 2003, the Meridian Society has distributed more than $394,084 in awards to more than 148 projects.
