Dental Student Scholarships

The Dean’s Scholarship Program continues to help ensure that SIU SDM remains affordable and accessible for deserving dental students who truly want to make a difference in the lives of the patients they will serve as our colleagues in the profession of dentistry. Your support will help continue this meaningful tradition of scholarship assistance for outstanding dental students at SIU SDM.

Opportunities to support patient care

Veterans Dental Care

Help us cover the cost of dental care for veterans of the United States Armed Forces (including the United States Coast Guard) in the School’s patient clinics. Your support will help us continue this program as we continue to identify veterans in need.

Support for Children with Special Dental Care Needs

This program is focused on serving low-income children who have cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and other neurological disorders and genetic syndromes, as well as children with heightened anxiety due to age or other factors. Your support can help us continue to provide treatment for these children in need.

SIU SDM Faculty Recruitment and Retention

To ensure that our dental students reach their full potential and are best prepared for careers in dental medicine, we must find innovative ways to attract and retain faculty members with the latest knowledge, skills and passion to motivate and engage our students. Your support will allow us to pursue and retain faculty members of the highest caliber and will help ensure that our tradition of excellence in dental education continues.
